Anastasia Sharp

Former Riverhead resident Anastasia Sharp of Ronkonkoma died Nov. 9 at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. She was 93.  

She was born Jan. 6, 1921, in Riverhead to Anastazy and Bronislawa Pendzick and worked as bank clerk in Flushing.

Ms. Sharp is survived by her daughters, Loretta Titolo of Florida and Catherine Sasso of California; her brother, Carl Pendzick of Calverton; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors Saturday, Nov. 15, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral Mass will take place Nov. 15 at 1 p.m. at St. Isidore R.C. Church in Riverhead. Interment will take place Monday, Nov. 17, at Calverton National Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Association.
