Engagement: Betsy Van Bourgondien and Peter Barraud

Robert and Patricia Van Bourgondien of Southold have announced the engagement of their daughter Betsy to Peter Barraud, son of Alan and Diane Barraud of Baiting Hollow. 

Betsy earned an undergraduate degree from Penn State University in 2006 and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Maine in 2011. She works as a registered nurse in New Hampshire. Peter graduated from SUNY/Oneonta in 2008 and earned master’s degrees from the University of New Hampshire in 2011. He is a special education teacher in New Hampshire.

A wedding is planned for August 2015 on the family’s Peconic hop farm.
