Riverhead Chamber honors its 2014 award winners

SPIRIT OF RIVERHEAD AWARD

Verna Campbell, retiring receptionist at the Town of Riverhead. Has worked for town since 1977.

Presenter Tracy James, executive director of Riverhead Industrial Development Association: “She knew without a doubt she was meant to [work] there … She is well-loved by her co-workers and the community … [She received the award] for her zest for life, the love in her heart and her infectious personality.”
