The Riverhead Chamber of Commerce will officiate a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday, Dec. 17, at 10 a.m. to recognize the opening of 30 West Main Street in downtown Riverhead, the Riverhead Industrial Development Agency said.

The ceremony will be followed by a tour of the building. In a press release, the IDA said the building’s second and third floors, which were recently renovated by Manhattan broker Georgia Malone, will be marketed to law firms because of their “proximity to the Riverhead courthouses, but will also target startups and people who work from home.”

The building’s first floor is already home to Ninow’s Music Store.

“I am grateful to Ms. Malone for making an investment in downtown and adding a new dynamic to the resurgence of Main Street,” said Riverhead Town Supervisor Sean Walter.
