Former Aquebogue and Riverhead resident Russell “Rusty” Louis Silva Jr. died Nov. 21. He was 63.
Family members said Mr. Silva was a man of integrity whose hard work and dedication knew no limits. Before moving on with his career and moving to Florida, he was manager of Riverhead National Shoe Store.
Mr. Silva spent many summers racing his stock car at Riverhead Raceway.
He is survived by his wife Benna; his daughters Kimberly, Kelly and Victoria; three
grandchildren and his sister, Lynn Smith of Riverhead. He is predeceased by
his parents Russell and Dorothy Silva of Aquebogue.
Services were held at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Plantation Fla.
