Cops: Ronkonkoma woman arrested for DWI following road rage report

A 29-year-old Ronkonkoma woman was arrested on a drunken drive charge in Laurel Saturday night following a crash in Riverhead Town, Southold Town police said.

Officers stopped Jennifer M. McGuigan near Franklinville Road around 7:24 p.m. after receiving reports of a possible road rage incident, police said. Ms. McGuigan told police she had been involved in a crash with another vehicle, police said.

She was arrested for aggravated drinking while intoxicated.

No injuries were reported and no other information was immediately available.
