William W. Wilson

William W. Wilson of Riverhead died Feb. 10 in Georgia. He was 76. 

Mr. Wilson was born April 3, 1938, in North Carolina to William and Ethel Wilson. He married Emma (Williams) in 1961 in North Carolina.

He worked as a cook at the Riverhead Town Senior Center. Family members said he enjoyed fishing and racing.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Wilson is survived by his children, Dorothy McCoy of Baltimore, Debra Kozerski of Florida, William, of Georgia, and Doris Strange and Doreen Wilson-Williams, both of Riverhead; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

The family received visitors Feb. 15 at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral service was held Feb. 16 at Unity Baptist Church in Mattituck. Interment took place at Riverhead Cemetery.
