An employee at Jared Vault in Tanger Outlets was arrested Saturday for stealing jewelry on two separate occasions, Riverhead Town police said.

Trevor J. Lovelace, 23, of Yaphank was arrested on two counts of third-degree grand larceny, police said. Police arrested Mr. Lovelace for thefts that allegedly occurred Feb. 12 and March 1. Police did not disclose the value of the thefts, but the charge indicates it was above $3,000.

Mr. Lovelace was transported to Riverhead Police Department for processing and is being held for arraignment.

An employee who answered the phone at the store declined comment.

According to online court records, Mr. Lovelace is also facing an aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle charge from an earlier arrest in December 2014.
