Stop-DWI patrols lead to four arrests in Riverhead
Four people were arrested during Stop DWI patrols in Riverhead Saturday, town police said in a press release.
Three of the arrests were for driving while intoxicated and one more was for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, police said.
A total of 36 cars were stopped during the afternoon and evening patrols, police said. The patrols occurred during a St. Patrick’s Day-themed pub crawl downtown.
One of the arrested was released on an appearance, one was arraigned Saturday and two more were held for a Sunday morning arraignment, police said.
The following were arrested for DWI:
• John Egert, 31, of Manorville.
• Barbara Langhorne, 58, of Riverhead.
• George Wise, 66, of Riverhead.
Arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle was:
• Roberto Chamale Boror, 29, 0f Riverhead.
