Police: Flanders woman had pink stun gun in pink purse

A 25-year-old Flanders woman is facing a weapons charge after police found she was carrying a pink stun gun in handbag during a traffic stop Friday night, police said.

Jessica Seaman of Flanders Road was arrested about 11 p.m. on Bellows Pond Road in Hampton Bays, Southampton Town police said.

Ms. Seaman was a front passenger in a car that was stopped for passing on the road shoulder and was found to have a pink electronic stun gun in a pink purse, according to police. The driver, Eric Lehr, 36, of Bellows Pond Road in Hampton Bays, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, failure to pay a fine and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

The facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation charge come in relation to allegations that Ms. Seaman had a driver’s license herself but allowed someone without a driver’s license to drive, according to Sgt. Sue Ralph of the Southampton Town police.
