Run to Remember 5K set for May 17 in Riverhead

The Riverhead Administrator’s Association will host a 5K run/walk May 17 to remember and celebrate the memory of lost loved ones. 

The race, called the Run To Remember, will raise funds for Riverhead High School senior class scholarships.

Donations are being sought from local businesses and community members. Some items needed are water bottles, basket donations for raffles, fresh fruit and granola or protein bars.

The race will start and finish on School Street by Riverhead High School. The entrance fee is $20 for early online registration and $25 for registration on the day of the race.

Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age categories. T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 150 runners who register.

The race starts at 9 a.m.
