Riverhead Justice Court: Coram man fined $1,205

There were 319 cases on the docket in Riverhead Town Justice Richard Ehlers’ court April 27-29. The following are among those adjudicated. 

• Therese Desoiza, 24, of Carnaby Avenue in Coram pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated and was fined $1,205.

• Daniel Hudson, 30, of Haywaters Road in Cutchogue pleaded guilty to driving while ability impaired, reduced from DWI, and was fined $660.

• Joseph Ross Jr., 35, of Buckskin Lane in Riverhead pleaded guilty to driving while ability impaired, reduced from DWI, and was fined $660.

• Marly Parada-Umana, 30, of Osborn Avenue in Riverhead pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, reduced from criminally obstructing breathing, and was fined $300.

• Two counts of first-degree possession of a forged instrument against Paul Allen, 25, of Linden Place in Roosevelt, were dismissed as he was indicted in county court.

• Three counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance against Joseph Douglas, 33, of East Main Street in Riverhead were dismissed in town court as he was indicted in county court.

• A third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance charge against Grace Rose, 34, of East Main Street in Riverhead was dismissed in town court as she was indicted in county court.
