Margaret Ingrassia

Margaret Ingrassia of Calverton died May 8 at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. She was 72. She was born June 4, 1942, to Mildred (Miller) and John Van Houten. Family members said she was a homemaker.

Ms. Ingrassia is survived by her husband, William; her three children, Debra Smith of Medford, Lisa Gobrick of Riverhead and Gregory, of Edison, N.J.; her siblings, George and Raymond Van Houten of Medford and Millie Assa of Haskell, N.J.; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors Tuesday, May 12, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead, with a funeral service taking place at 8 p.m. The funeral procession will meet at the funeral home at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 13, to drive to Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Center Moriches.
