Joseph Edgar

Joseph Edgar of Riverhead died April 27. He was 83. 

He was born July 24, 1931, in Riverhead and was the son of Joseph A. Edgar.

Mr. Edgar received his master’s degree and was a teacher in the Riverhead Central School District.

Predeceased by his wife, Helen, in 1994, Mr. Edgar is survived by friends and a few cousins.

A funeral service was held May 4 at St. Isidore R.C. Church in Riverhead. Interment took place at the church cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead.
