Thomas Kosciuszko

Thomas Kosciuszko of Riverhead died May 21 at Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation. He was 61. 

He was born Jan. 27, 1954, in Riverhead to John and Erna (Breitenbach) Kosciuszko.

Mr. Kosciuskzo worked as a stock clerk for Swezey’s Department Store in Riverhead.

Family members said he loved life, the outdoors and spending time with his family.

Predeceased by his parents, he is survived by his brothers, John Jr., of Mastic, Richard, of Riverhead, Joseph, of Delaware, and his sisters, Susan and Joan, both of Riverhead.

Cremation was private. Interment will be held at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 27, at Riverhead Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Arrangements were in the care of McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead.
