Baseball: Sabatella leading Atlantic League in hits, runs

Bryan Sabatella of Aquebogue has an eight-game hitting streak with the Long Island Ducks. The former Shoreham-Wading River High School player is batting .459 (17 of 37), with six runs batted in and nine runs scored during the streak. 

The outfielder leads the Atlantic League in hits (57), runs (36), at-bats (191) and stolen bases (15).

Sabatella is batting .301 for the season in 45 games played.
