Mary Kvocka

Mary Kvocka of Jamesport died June 14 at Westhampton Care Center. She was 97.

She was born Oct. 14, 1917, in Pennsylvania to Helen (Yesenosky) and Peter Stegun.

Family members said Ms. Kvocka was a homemaker who loved playing cards and bingo.

Predeceased by her son, John, Ms. Kvocka is survived by her daughters, Barbara Tremko of Lewes, Del. and Marie Osborne of Newburgh, N.Y.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors Tuesday, June 16, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, at St. Isidore R.C. Church in Riverhead. Cremation was private.
