LIRClothing to host third annual back to school drive
LIRClothing, the clothing company created by Anthony Harris of Riverhead, is hosting its third annual Back To School Children’s Appreciation Day this Sunday, Aug. 23.
The event will take place at Doctors Path Community Park on N. Oakland Drive in Riverhead from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The company, which stands for Loyalty is Royalty, will donate school supplies and the company’s clothing to children.
Mr. Harris said in a 2013 News-Review article that the goal of the event is to “help the underprivileged kids, their parents and get them off the school year started right.”
Food, drinks, activities, a live DJ and a photo booth are all slated to be at Back To School Children’s Appreciation Day as well.
