Marjorie Jean Casale
Marjorie Jean Casale of Riverhead died Oct. 1 at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. She was 88.
She was born Sept. 27, 1927, in Louisville, Ky., to Grace (Nichols) and Charles Poynter.
Ms. Casale was a clerical office worker for Newsday.
Predeceased by her first husband, Walter Williams, in 1979 and her second husband, John Casale, in 1988, Ms. Casale is survived by her daughters, Carol Albers, Barbara Brideau and Rebecca Barone, all of Michigan, Catherine, of Long Island, and Mary Prumier of Albany; her sons, John, of Riverhead, and Michael, of Long Island; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
The family received visitors Oct. 4 at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral service was held Oct. 5 at the funeral home. Interment was at Calverton National Cemetery.
