Riverhead blotter: $200 worth of pumpkins damaged at Harbes

Someone damaged $200 worth of pumpkins at Harbes Family Farm on Main Road in Jamesport Sunday morning, according to police, who received a report of the damage around 6 a.m.

• The front hinge to an awning was reported stolen from a home on Lakeview Court in Riverhead Sunday night. The value of the stolen item is about $500, police said.

• A man told police the ATM at Capital One bank on East Main Street malfunctioned and took his debit card and $800 Saturday afternoon.

• The owner of Woodside Orchards on Main Road in Aquebogue told police that some of his customers were using the parking lot as a restroom Saturday afternoon. The owner told police he will put an employee in the parking lot to monitor the issue, police said.

• A wood chipper and a snow blower were reported stolen from a home on Railroad Avenue in Calverton last Thursday afternoon, police said. The estimated value of the stolen items wasn’t listed.
