Top-seeded and undefeated Shoreham-Wading River will host No. 8 Bishop McGann-Mercy (4-4) in the first round of the Division IV playoffs at 1 p.m. Saturday.
The game will be played at Miller Place High School, according to the brackets on SectionXI. The Wildcats have been playing their home games at Rocky Point High School because of construction to their new turf field. Both Rocky Point and Miller Place are in the playoffs as well in Division III, but Miller Place will play on the road at Eastport-South Manor Friday. Rocky Point plays at No. 1 Sayville Saturday.
The Wildcats opened the season with a victory against Mercy, 35-0.
In Division II, No. 6 seed Riverhead will travel to No. 3 West Islip at 1 p.m. Saturday in another rematch of Week 1. West Islip won 19-8 against the Blue Waves that week and the Lions posted a 6-2 record. The Blue Waves finished 4-4 after closing out the regular season with wins against Bellport and Smithtown East.
