Theodore Erwin Walters

Theodore Erwin Walters of Manorville died Dec. 7 at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. He was 54. 

The son of Robert H. Walters and Ilse E. Assmus, he was born Sept. 23, 1961 in New Mexico.

Mr. Walters worked as a claims adjuster for Farmers Insurance in Merrick.

He is survived by his daughters, McKenna Walters Bamford of Clovis, Calif., Aubree, of Visalia, Calif., and Amanda, of Manorville; his fiancée, Meg Ferris, of Manorville; his mother, Ilse, of Tacoma, Wash.; his sisters, Heidi Myhre of Tacoma and Erica Bowles of Gig Harbor, Wash.; and his grandson, Aven Bamford.

The family will receive visitors Friday, Dec. 11, from 5 to 7 p.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead, where a funeral service will take place at 6:30 p.m. Cremation will be private.
