Police ask for public’s help to find Baiting Hollow snow plow thieves

Riverhead Town police are investigating the theft of two snow plows worth $10,000 in total from the Baiting Hollow Club last month — and they need your help.

According to a news release sent out this week, someone took two snow plow frames and blades from the club’s grounds at 100 Club Drive sometime between Dec. 12 and Dec. 29. One plow and blade fit a Ford F550 truck and the second fit a Chevy S-10 truck, police said.
