North Fork winter storm postponements, closures and delays

The following is a list of North Fork postponements, closures and delays due to is weekend’s winter storm. Email [email protected] to report a closure or delay. 

BUSINESS

• Peconic Bay Medical Center’s “Living Well with Diabetes” has been rescheduled for Jan. 30.

• The Cooperage Inn is closed for brunch Sunday and will reopen at 2 p.m..

• Safari Adventure is closed Saturday and plans to have a delayed opening Sunday at noon.

• Peconic Landing rescheduled its job fair for Saturday, Feb. 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Southold Town Supervisor Scott Russell announced that the town landfill will reopen at 7 a.m. Sunday.

ENTERTAINMENT

• The First Congregational Church has rescheduled its “Raise the Roof” brunch at Dark Horse Restaurant. The new date is Feb. 7 between 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For tickets and more information, call the First Congregational Church at 631-727-2621.

• The Perlman Music Program has canceled its concert on Shelter Island for Sunday.

• The Piano Plus Concert at Riverhead Free Library scheduled for Sunday has been postponed.

• The Mark Yodice concert scheduled for Sunday at Southold Library has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 9 at 1:30 p.m.

SCHOOLS/SPORTS

• Southold School District is closed Sunday. All activities are canceled.

• Riverhead High School is closed Sunday. All activities are canceled.

• The 19th annual North Fork Invitational wrestling tournament at Mattituck High School has been postponed until Jan. 31.
