Rewards offered for info on three separate Tanger thefts

Crime1Suffolk County and Riverhead Police are hoping the public can help them track down seven people involved in separate thefts at Tanger Outlet Mall in recent months.

According to police, four women removed sensors from men and women’s clothing from Tommy Hilfiger on Jan. 29 around 1:40 p.m. and left the store. They were reportedly seen getting into a black Nissan Rogue that was waiting for them when they left the store.Crime2

Police also said a couple entered Vera Bradley last Nov. 11 around 3:40 p.m. and stole credit cards from a customer’s purse. Shortly after, the two used the cards to buy goods at Walmart, Staples and Target down the road.CW 16-047a

Thirdly, police allege that a woman entered Coach Men’s Outlet on Nov. 9 last year and put eight scarves in her purse before fleeing the store without paying around 6 p.m.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest in any incident. Anyone with information about the crimes will kept anonymous. Confidential calls can be made to 1-800-220-TIPS.
