Dorothy C. Matusaik

Dorothy C. Matusaik of Riverhead died March 24 at Brookhaven Memorial Hosptial. She was 82. 

The daughter of Stanley and Rose Sobotka, she was born April 15, 1933, in Greeport and attended Riverhead High School.

Ms Matusaik worked as a production associate at Photocircuits. Family members said she enjoyed birds and flowers and spending time with family.

Predeceased by her husband, Felix, in 1988, Ms. Matusaik is survived by her children, Joseph, of Riverhead and Donna, of South Carolina; her sister, Marion Stroup of Aquebogue; her brother, Stanley Sobotka of California; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive visitors Tuesday, March 29, from 6 to 9 p.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral service will take place Wednesday, March 30, at 10:45 a.m. at Calverton National Cemetery.
