Voters approve Riverhead Free Library’s $3.5 million budget
The Riverhead Free Library’s 2016-17 proposed spending plan was approved Tuesday night by a 184 to 95 vote.
The budget calls for a 2.4 percent tax levy increase, bringing the total to $3.5 million.
In addition, residents also approved Tuesday the Baiting Hollow Free Library’s $12,145 budget, up by $20, by a 179 to 101 vote.
