Cops: Calverton woman charged with DWI after accident

A Calverton woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after a two-car accident in Hampton Bays early Wednesday morning, Southampton Town police said.

Amber McArthur, 25, was traveling on Bellows Pond Road when she lost control of her vehicle, crossed the road and collided with another vehicle at about 12:31 a.m., police said. No injuries were reported.

Police charged Ms. McArthur with misdemeanor DWI and two traffic violations.
