Police investigating farmstand break-ins in Aquebogue, Jamesport

Riverhead Town police responded to a burglary at Bayview Farm Market in Aquebogue Wednesday morning, according to a press release.

Prior to the Main Road store opening, at least two individuals entered the property and removed cash and assorted merchandise, as seen on a surveillance video, officials said.

Police also responded to a criminal mischief call at Season Farms on Main Road in Jamesport after someone allegedly tried to enter the store through a window air conditioning unit and damaged multiple plants, officials said.
