Justice Court: Driver caught with drugs sentenced to six months in jail
There were 464 cases on the docket in Riverhead Town Justice Lori Hulse’s court May 2-5. The following were among those adjudicated.
• Jeremy Rosendahl, 36, of East Quogue pleaded guilty to driving while ability impaired by drugs, possession of a hypodermic instrument and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to six months in jail.
• Rona Simmons, 44, of Riverhead pleaded guilty to petit larceny and was sentenced to 120 days in jail.
• Cynthia White, 56, of Calverton pleaded guilty to two counts of petit larceny and was sentenced to 90 days in jail.
• Victor Jeronimo-Salan, 31, of Flanders pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated and driving without a license and was fined $1,200.
• Caesar Vasquez-Ramirez, 28, of Westhampton pleaded guilty to DWI and was fined $1,200.
• Santos Sapon-Talo, 29, of Riverhead pleaded guilty to driving while ability impaired, reduced from DWI, and was fined $960.
• Faith Pepa, 30, of Riverhead pleaded guilty to DWI and was fined $565.
• Richard Jacobellis, 22, of Ridge pleaded guilty to seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and was fined $205.
• A charge of fourth-degree grand larceny against Jennifer Maier, 30, of Wading River was dismissed in town court as she was indicted in county court.
• Theodore Paloumbas, 28, of Whitestone pleaded guilty to DWI and was sentenced to three years’ probation.
• Charges of first-degree burglary and third-degree assault against Able Tsang, 51, of Riverhead were dismissed.
