Cops: $5K reward offered for information on burglary

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead police detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who broke into a Riverhead store early Saturday morning.
A cash reward of $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest, according to Suffolk police.
The burglary occurred at about 6 a.m. at Platinum Prepaid Wireless located at 121 Griffing Avenue. The suspect stole numerous cell phones from the business, police said.
The suspect is described as a black man with an average build. He was wearing a True Religion T-shirt and a Chicago Bulls hat, police said.
