Eric L. Crump

Eric L. Crump of Riverhead died Aug. 13 at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. He was 65. 

The son of George Crump and Eva Tardd, he was born Feb. 24, 1951, in Riverhead.

Mr. Crump graduated from Riverhead High School in 1970 and worked as a computer technician for Brookhaven National Lab. Family members said he enjoyed collecting.

Predeceased by his father in 1996 and his brother, Victor, in 1980, Mr. Crump is survived by his mother, Eva Tardd, of Riverhead and his sister, Emma Jones, of Arizona.

The family will receive visitors Friday, Aug. 19, from 11 a.m. to noon at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead, where a funeral service will take place at noon. Interment will take place at Riverhead Cemetery.
