Long time Southold resident Lillian Spencer Rowe Schulze passed away Aug. 19, 2016, at her home with her family present. She was 97.
Lillian was born in Dumont, N.J. to John and Lillian Rowe on Oct. 14, 1918. She worked several years in New York City before moving to Southold in 1952 with her family. She worked for many years in the Southold High School cafeteria.
She is survived by her three daughters, Susan Clark (Terry) of Rock Hill, S.C., Linda Gattuso (Patrick) of Spring Hill, Fla. and Janice Hansen (Melvin) of Southold; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Dorothy Pantleon of Pflugerville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her daughter Lois Nies and her grandson Andrew Nies.
Cremation and burial will be private. Donations may be made to Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport or North Fork United Methodist Church in Cutchogue in her memory.
