Francine M. Smith

Francine M. Smith of Riverhead died Aug. 31 at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. She was 51. 

The daughter of Frank and Dolores Bialczak, she was born March 9, 1965, in Bethpage. She married Jack Smith in 1998.

Ms. Smith worked at North Fork Bank in Mattituck.

Family members she enjoyed gardening, crime novels and doing jigsaw puzzles.

Predeceased by her parents she is survived by her husband; her brother, Mark Bialczak of Syracuse, N.Y. and her sister, Dory Daly of Malverne.

A memorial service took place Sept. 4 at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead.
