Cops: Driver charged with DWI following crash in Northampton

An unlicensed Eastport woman was arrested on a drunken driving charge Wednesday after she crashed her vehicle in Northampton, according to a police press release.

Samantha Albin, 24, was driving on County Road 51 around 2:25 a.m. when the single-vehicle crash occurred, Southampton police said.

Ms. Albin didn’t suffer any injuries, officials said.

She was charged with driving while intoxicated and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, police said.

Ms. Albin was held for an arraignment, officials said.
