Joseph F. Keiser Sr.

Joseph F. Keiser Sr. of Jamesport died April 3 at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset. He was 89. 

The son of Marie (Grant) and Joseph H. Keiser, he was born July 28, 1927, in Philadelphia, Pa.

He received his master’s degree and was a sales manager for Johnson & Johnson and New Jersey.

Predeceased by his sister, Dorothy Jenkins, Mr. Keiser is survived by wife, Catherine; his daughter, Kathy L’Abbate; son Joseph F. Keiser Jr.; brother, William Keiser and sister, Joan Dragolic; grandchildren, Krista Verrone, Joseph F. Keiser III, Theresa Derasmo, Nicole O’Malley, Kristofer Keiser and Shane Keiser and great-grandchildren, Lillian O’Malley, Emma Grace O’Malley, Annabelle Verrone, Matteo Derasmo and Joseph F. Keiser IV.

The family received visitors April 7 at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral service took place April 8 at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Riverhead, officiated by Bishop Emil Wcela. Burial took place at the church cemetery.
