Riverhead Blotter: Woman allegedly gave cops false name

Jasmine Morales of Riverhead allegedly approached a man numerous times around 7:40 p.m. on Railroad Avenue offering him sex for money. The complainant said he called police, who responded and found Ms. Morales yelling obscenities at the complainant, officials said.

When the officer approached Ms. Morales she said she didn’t have any identification on her and gave the officer an incorrect name, police said. She was warned that it is a crime to give a police officer the wrong name, date of birth and address, but again gave false information, officials said.

She was charged with misdemeanor false personation.

• Christian Chunir Misacango was arrested for felony driving while intoxicated and other traffic violations around 12:40 a.m. on the Long Island Expressway in Calverton Tuesday, police said. His car was reportedly impounded due to a prior conviction.

• James Breitenbach Jr, 29, was arrested for misdemeanor DWI near East Main Street and Fairway Avenue around 1 a.m. Sunday, officials said.

• Police arrested Adrienne Hertzler for misdemeanor second-degree criminal contempt around 10:30 a.m. on Ostrander Avenue last Thursday.

• Garry Brunskill, 59, of Riverhead was pulled over by police for not stopping at a stop sign around 1 p.m. on East Main Street last Thursday, officials said. He was charged with misdemeanor second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Those who are named in police reports have not been convicted of any crime or violation. The charges against them may later be reduced or withdrawn, or they may be found innocent.
