Sarah Jane Bouchard Pyne

Sarah Jane Bouchard Pyne who resided in Bradenton, Fla. since 1986 died on April 25, 2018.

Born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., Mrs. Pyne was the daughter of Fred T. Bouchard and Iva (Daigle) Bouchard. She spent her childhood living in Madawaska, Maine and graduating from Madawaska High School in 1948 and the University of Maine in 1952.

Mrs. Pyne spent 35 years living in Riverhead, L.I. NY, raising a family and teaching school. Since moving to Bradenton 32 years ago, she was active in the Auxiliary of Blake Hospital as well as the activities of the Lakeside South Homeowners Association.

Mrs. Pyne is survived by her two daughters, Sharon E. Pyne of Woolrich, Maine and Susan Olsen of Bradenton, Fla. and two granddaughters, Bridget and Nora McElroy of Woolrich, Maine. Mrs. Pyne is predeceased by her husband, James F. Pyne and son, James Pyne, III.

There will be no local visitation, but a memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, at Saints Peter & Paul the Apostles Catholic Church in Bradenton.

Memorial donations may be made to Blake Hospital Auxiliary or Southeast Guide Dog.
