Orville R. Sypher

Orville R. Sypher of Jamesport died April 26 in Riverhead. 

The son of Helen and Edgar Sypher, he was born Jan. 10, 1929, in Riverhead. He came from a large family and had many siblings.

Mr. Sypher worked doing road construction.

Predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth, in 2011, Mr. Sypher is survived by his daughters, Leslie (Terry) McCabe and Cheryl Sypher and his grandchildren, Shannon, Shane, Kyle and Tyler.

A  service took place April 30 at Riverhead Cemetery.
