Marilyn Mica

Marilyn (Fenstermacher) Mica of Aquebogue died May 20. She was 70. 

The daughter of Catherine (Baum) and William Fenstermacher, she was born Dec. 27, 1947, in Queens.

Ms. Mica receive a master’s degree and was a school teacher for BOCES in Southampton.

Family members said she was “beloved by all who knew her and a strong fighter.”

Predeceased by her son, Roger T. Mica, Ms. Mica is survived by her husband, Kenneth; daughters, Carolynn (Jeff) Okula and Stephanie (Francesco) Falco; grandchildren, Thomas, Mary Kate and Bradley Okula and Betty and Oskas Falco and siblings, Janet Fenstermacher and Robert (Susan) Fenstermacher.

The family will receive visitors Wednesday, May 23, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home in Riverhead, where funeral services will take place. Private burial will take place at Calverton National Cemetery where Ms. Mica’s son is interred.

Memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or United Cerebral Palsy. Donation envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
