Lloyd R. Scott

Lloyd R. Scott of Calverton died Sept. 11 at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. He was 43.

He was born in Freehold, N.J., Sept. 26, 1974, to Richard and June (Border) Scott. He graduated from Riverhead High School in 1992 and was an airport manager at Gabreski Airport.

Predeceased by his father in 2007, he is survived by his fiancé, Trisha Yakaboski; his children, Colby, of Riverhead and Tanner, of Calverton; his mother June, of Riverhead; his sister Michelle Schwarz of Flanders; and his stepson, D.J. Chandler.

The family will receive visitors Friday, Sept. 14, from 6 to 9 p.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead, where a memorial service will take place.
