Mark H. Warner

Mark H. Warner of Wading River passed away unexpectedly May 30, 2018. Mark was born Dec. 21, 1954, to the late Milton and Lilias Warner. Mark was a graduate of the Earl L. Vandermeulen High School and later went on to attend North Carolina State University.

He was a beloved father, brother, uncle, loyal friend and role model to many. He was active in sports and loved all things basketball, wrestling and lacrosse related. When he wasn’t coaching from the bleachers, he loved nothing more than his family, his dogs, being outside and having a good laugh.

He had an infectious laugh, and a million dollar smile to match. He always went out of his way to help anyone in need and lived with an open heart, loving everyone who crossed his path. He had strong family values and was always looking to bring everyone together. He was always looking to make a new friend, listen to your life story and dispense his sage wisdom. His zest for life, love for his family and positive attitude will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers or donation, it is asked that you honor his memory by sitting with your family over a bowl of ice cream, and have a good belly laugh.
