Robert M. Derry

Robert M. Derry of Flanders died Sept. 30 at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. He was 67. 

The son of Robert Derry and Ethel (Fensch), he was born Aug. 12, 1951, in Waterbury, Conn.

On Nov. 25, 1978, he married Elissa Mott at St. Andrews R.C. Church in Sag Harbor.

Mr. Derry attended Western New England College and received a Bachelor of Arts in business. He worked for Riverhead Building Supply in Hampton Bays as a yard gate attendant.

Predeceased by his father, Mr. Derry is survived by his wife; his daughters, Rachel and Rebecca; his sister, Linda Johnston; his mother; and grandsons Jace and Julien Louis.

The family will receive visitors Wednesday, Oct. 3, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral service will take place at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Riverhead.
