Harold L. McBride

Harold L. McBride of Riverhead died Dec. 8 at East End Hospice Kanas Center for Hospice Care. He was 87.

Mr. McBride was born Aug. 8, 1931, in South Ozone Park to James and Frances (O’Connell) McBride. 

He married Florence Ryder, served in the U.S. Marines from 1951 to 1953 and owned Mac Air Freight in Lawrence, N.Y.

Mr. McBride is survived by his wife; his son, Chris; and two grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors Tuesday, Dec. 11, from 10 a.m. to noon at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home in Riverhead. Services, conducted by Deacon Frank Barone, will follow at noon. Interment will take place at Calverton National Cemetery.
