Debrah J. Morris

Riverhead resident Debrah J. Morris died Dec. 10 at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. She was 64.

Born April 6, 1954, in Southampton, she was the daughter of Glenward and Margie (Shannon) Morris.

Ms. Morris attended Southampton High School. Her hobbies included singing and reading.

She is survived by her mother; her daughter, Marje Morris of Nebraska; and her siblings, Bishop Joseph Shannon of Nebraska, Reginald Morris of Southampton, Patricia Overton and Beatrice Brown, both of North Carolina, and William Morris of Riverhead.

The family will receive visitors at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Galilee Church of God in Christ in Riverhead, with funeral services immediately following. Interment will take place at Southampton Cemetery.

Arrangements were in the care of McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead.
