Stanley ‘Stan’ Lopienski

Stanley “Stan” Lopienski of Riverhead died Feb. 25. He was 84.

He was born Nov. 2, 1934, in Brooklyn to Chester and Catherine Lopienski.

Mr. Lopienski attended Milford High School and worked at Westinghouse International Co. for 28 years and Suffolk County Community College for eight years. He married Carol Oswald Feb. 2, 1963.

He is survived by his wife; his son, John; his daughter, Karen; his brother, Bernard, and sisters, Stella and Wanda; grandsons Christian, Ryan and Jordan; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

Visitors will be received Thursday, Feb. 28, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home in Riverhead. Services will take place Friday, March 1, at 11 a.m. at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram. The family asks that those attending the service arrive at 10:45 a.m.
