Herbert A. Carson

Herbert A. Carson of Riverhead, formerly of Brentwood and Baiting Hollow, died March 9. He was 84.Mr. Carson was a retired banker and member of American Legion Post 23 in Riverhead.

There will be no public calling hours. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, March 15, at Mattituck Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Dr. John Carrick officiating. A luncheon will follow at the church. Interment with U.S. Army honors will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the youth or choir group at the church.
