Richard E. Nedosik

Richard E. Nedosik of Riverhead died peacefully at home April 1. He was 84.He was born Jan. 17, 1935, to Victoria E. Mroczka and Leonard Eugene Nedosik in Riverhead.

Mr. Nedosik was a U.S. Army veteran, a fisherman, a world traveler and a decoy collector who loved Polish polka music, his family said.

He is survived by his sisters, Judith (Bruno) Sidor, Marguerite (Allen) Pasqualone, Jeanette (Jack) Puszcz and Geraldine (Paul) Hanson, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitors will be received Thursday, April 4, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral will take place Friday, April 5, at 11 a.m. St. Isidore R.C. Church in Riverhead, followed by interment at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery in Riverhead.
