Elizabeth V. Coughlan

Elizabeth V. Coughlan of Greenport, formerly of Wading River, died Dec. 11. She was 91.
She was born April 24, 1928, to Elizabeth and Albert Kurovics in Wading River. 
Ms. Coughlan graduated from Port Jefferson High School and was employed as a beautician at Betty’s Beauty Parlor. 
Her family said she enjoyed collecting sea glass and stones and gardening. 
She was predeceased by her daughter Natalie Grace O’Kula; and husbands Chester O’Kula in 1971 and Frank X. Coughlan in 1994. She is survived by her children Jill Witt of Riverhead, Maryellen Long of Florida and Denise Wittosch of Georgia; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. 
Visitors will be received Tuesday, Dec. 17, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A service will take place Wednesday, Dec. 18, at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church in Wading River followed by interment at Calverton National Cemetery.
