Frances D. Sadowski

Former Riverhead resident Frances D. Sadowski of North Carolina died Dec. 9. She was 94.
She was born in Riverhead May 11, 1925, to Sophie (Andruszkewicz) and Walter Trojanowski.
Ms. Sadowski graduated from Riverhead High School and made a career with the Social Security Administration.
Her family said she loved reading and was a member of St. Isidore R.C. Church in Riverhead and the church Altar Rosary Society.
Predeceased by her husband, Jeremiah, in 1995, Ms. Sadowski is survived by her son, Thomas, of North Carolina; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will take place Monday, Dec. 30, at 1 p.m. at St. Isidore Cemetery in Riverhead.
McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead assisted the family.
